Care for Your Saree

A beautiful saree can remain part of your wardrobe for years when stored and handled thoughtfully.

Dry cleaning is recommended for silk and delicate sarees unless otherwise mentioned on the product page.

Store sarees in a cool and dry place. Wrap delicate sarees in soft cotton or muslin cloth instead of plastic for long-term storage.

Refold silk sarees periodically to avoid permanent creases along the same fold lines.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and protect sarees from moisture.

Avoid spraying perfume or deodorant directly onto the fabric.

Use low heat and preferably iron from the reverse side. A protective cotton cloth can also be placed between the iron and saree.
